well hi plays amazin • SkyeWPH on 10-Jan-09 Well try to do that when your around 85 • Daniel0889 on 09-Jan-09 He makes alot of mistakes. • eRiK13319 on 09-Jan-09 The beauty of music, is that a musician can be ravaged by time, but it is the music and performance that they give that will only further progress and ultimately, if one keeps at it regularly, become a flawless performance. Segovia's version is lighter than Williams, easier on the ears, and moreso captures the feeling of Spain. The pause getting ready to do the double finger picking is intentional for the feeling of the piece to add to feeling The frets I think are just a matter of preference • Daenoxiis on 09-Jan-09 es la alhambra • Folkspain on 08-Jan-09 The best who ever lived • oldiron2007 on 08-Jan-09 OK,I saw both Romero's, John Williams' and Segovias video and my conclusion is: Romero plays too fast and without feeling but very precise. Williams plays excellently, more precisely than anybody else in this world possibly, but I don't sense very much feeling in his version, though he studied from Segovia. Segovia's version is absolute brilliant, with full feeling, you can feel Spain when you listen to this video, and he is around 90 here (hope i'm correct),at this age his performance is great! • Daniel0889 on 07-Jan-09 No. Andres Sig was a wonderful player and did more for the acceptance of the classical guitar in modern music than anyone else BUT please listen to John William's version. John is far more seemless and no fret buzz anywhere furthermore he does not pause getting ready to attck the double finger picking. His is superior, do dispespect to Andres. • bigtorrisi on 07-Jan-09 This is by far one of the best interpretations of this song. • darkhobbitul on 06-Jan-09 whoa his play's amazing • manyeesssssz on 06-Jan-09 |
